Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Adjust Samsung Keyboard Size in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

The size of the Samsung keyboard in your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is adjustable, means that you can adjust its height and/or width to fit your need. If needed, you can set it to a bigger size if you have difficulty when typing with small keys, or to a smaller size if you'd like to have more space for the text field so you can easily review the text you have written, or to be at the left or right side of the screen depending on your dominant hand so you can easily type with this keyboard using one hand.

How to adjust the size of the Samsung keyboard?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap at the top right to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down to the screen to find Language and input and then tap it.
  3. Tap Samsung keyboard.
Alternatively, when you're entering text, you can quickly go to the Samsung keyboard settings by long tapping the key in the left side of the space bar and then tap .
  4. Scroll down the screen to the Customisation section and then tap Keyboard size.
As a note, this option will be disabled if you enable the one-handed input feature.
  5. To adjust the height of the keyboard, drag the handle at the top of the keyboard upwards for a bigger size or downwards for a smaller size.
  6. To adjust the width of the keyboard, drag the handle at the left edge of the keyboard to place it in the right side of the screen for easier typing with one hand if you're a right-handed user, or drag the handle at the right edge of the keyboard to place it in the left side of the screen for easier typing with one hand if you're a left-handed user.
  7. If needed, you can type some text to test the keyboard size to make sure that it fits with your need.
  8. If you'd like to reset the keyboard size back to the default, tap Reset at the top right.
